If you like the idea of homemade oatmeal facials, continue reading to get to know some recipes that you can put to use!
Dry Oatmeal Recipe
The first recipe we’ll discuss here includes half a cup of dry oatmeal ground into a powder with your blender. Next in a separate dish, mix together plain yogurt and honey in equal parts. Use a blender or coffee grinder to mix all of these ingredients into a thick smooth paste.
The next step is to smear the mixture onto your skin being careful not to get this mix in your eyes. Use a warm wet washcloth to remove this mix after around fifteen minutes. That feels nice now doesn’t it?
For the next recipe, combine a fourth cup of oatmeal, a fourth cup of almonds, a tablespoon of cornstarch, and a tablespoon of chamomile tea. Place the mixture into glass jars after blending them together in a blender or a food processor. To use, place a couple teaspoons of the mixture on your hand and form a paste with a bit of water. Then spread on your face in circular motions using your fingers. When spreading over your face, avoid your eyes, and then rinse off with warm water and a soft washcloth.
Application
The following recipe is great for especially dry skin. Begin by massaging your face with a tablespoon of dry oatmeal. Now add a mashed banana and some yogurt together and spread just like a moisturizing cream you buy at the store. Avoid the eyes as you spread this evenly over your skin. Rinse this mixture off with warm tepid water after it’s sat on your skin for 20 minutes or more.
You probably already have all the ingredients needed to make these recipes. Doing so will save you money while also giving you the beautiful skin that you’ve been hoping to have for so long. If you can get the same results in the comfort of your home, why spend extra money at a spa?
